Design & Build Quality
When you look at the design of these two pod mods, you can see why they're a part of the Dragline of devices. The method of the frame is similar to that of the Drag 2, and so are the rounded, metal accented buttons. The design lines are clean and modern, and that gives these devices a sophisticated look.
The Drag X & S look like what the Drag 3 could look like from a front view. In addition to the sleek zinc alloy frame, the Drag S & X also have gorgeous back panels. The 'Retro' panel on my Drag X is tanned leather, while the 'Classic' panel on my Drag S is black textured leather.
These panels add a bit of cushion, and they feel high quality. The panel is stitched around the contour for an added look of sophistication. 'DRAG' is embossed in large lettering across the panel. I'm not sure if these are real leather panels, but even if they aren't, they're close enough to the real thing that it's impossible to tell.

Battery Life & Charging
The Drag S houses a built-in 2600mAh battery and charges using a Type-C cable. The Drag X is asingle 18650 battery mod, and as such, the battery life will depend on the battery you use. Butfrom my experience, the Drag S lasts for close to two full pods on a single charge (almost 9ml), andthat’s with the 0.3ohm coil at 40W.
The Drag X with the 0.15ohm coil netted me about the same usage. I vaped close to two full pods at 50W with my LG HG2. As for charging times, I only timed the Drag S. While the Drag X can be used to charge the 18650 batteries, I wouldn't recommend it.
I use an external vape battery charger to charge my vape batteries, and you should too. The Drag Scharged in just about an hour and a half. That’s not lightning quick by any means, but it’s also notbad considering the large 2600mAh battery.
Performance
I tested all three coils using a variety of e-juices in different PG/VG ratios. I used a 60VG e-juice, a 70VG e-juice and an 80 VG e-juice all in 6mg nicotine strength. The 0.3ohm coil is a familiar one for me, and if you’ve used the Vincii or Vincii X, then you’ve vaped on it before. It’s a very lovely vape at 40W. It’s warm and pleasant, and the flavor is up there with the best pod vapes. I kept the airflow about a
third of the way closed for an airy direct lung draw. This coil struggles with high VG e-juices, but anything lower keeps up without an issue. The 0.2ohm coil is a lot like the 0.3ohm coil. Really good flavor, and it’s an even warmer vape at 50W than the 0.3ohm coil. Keeping the airflow at a third of the way closed is an excellent vape, although I even completed the airflow halfway or more at times to enhance the flavor.
This also makes the vapor noticeably hotter, so if you like a hot vape, this is likely where you’ll want the airflow to be set for this coil. Last but not least, the 0.15ohm coil. I saved the best one last because this coil is the winner out of these three but keep in mind that it only comes with the Drag X. The flavor is impressive and noticeably better than either of the other two coils.
Although this coil is rated for 60-80W, I found that it performed best in the 50-60W range, and I usually vaped it from 50-55W. I kept the airflow either fully open or only slightly closed, and the vapor is still very, very warm. It’s a hot vape that delivers on flavor and clouds
the difference. These are some of the bests looking and most well-built pod devices out there. Unlike the Vincii & Vincii X, the Drag X & Drag S allow you to adjust the airflow. There’s a knob at the back of the devices used to open or close the airflow slots. There’s one airflow slot on each side of the device, just below where the pod sits.
This knob feels very sturdy, and opening or closing the airflow has the perfect amount of resistance. It’s not too loose nor too stiff. Great job by VooPoo on the airflow adjustment system. The Drag X is 8mm taller than the Drag S at 124mm x 32.5mm x 28mm; the width and depth of the two devices are the same.
The Drag X is also slightly heavier than the Drag S at 165g versus 150g. The added height and weight on the Drag X are because it takes a single 18650 battery, whereas the Drag S packs a built-in 2600mAh battery. Both devices feel good in the
hand, and thanks to the rounded back and cushiony leather grip, they’re more comfortable to use than the Vincii line of devices. Both devices have an identical full-color display. The screen is bright, even outdoors, and the text is crisp and easy to read. The fire button, located just above the screen, is firm and responsive. The adjustment buttons, located just below the screen, are similar in feel.
