The Argus GT is one of the most popular product series from the VooPoo Company. VooPoo made it into the limelight with the VooPoo drag mode, especially for its affordable price, improved performance, and long-lasting build.
Even though they have some products that could not meet the Drag standards, they came up with the Argus, which seems to cover what the predecessors did not achieve.
The Argus GT comes with the Argus GT mod, which uses dual-18650 batteries with a 160mAh rating. The PNP tank works in a pod that has an adapter function similar to a standard sub-ohm tank. Many devices have used this pod, such as the VooPoo Vinci and the Argus air pod system.

- Has a maximum power output of 160W
- Voltage output ranges from 6.4-8.4 volts
- Runs on dual 18650 batteries

Build and design quality
The Argus GT is a well-designed mod and has a look that resembles that of the geekvape aegis line. The unit feels solid in hand and does not come off as flimsy or cheap. The standard weight is 105 grams and 197 grams when the two batteries are fitted. So you are sure that it is not heavy at all.
The fire button is a rectangular indentation and is placed on the front side of the mod. Below the screen, you have the up and down buttons, and the USB-C port is found on the rubber plug on the side. The color screen is easy to read and very bright as well. This is an improvement compared to what the drag series featured.
A device that runs on dual batteries appears to be smaller, just like the VooPoo drag 2. The 510 pin is good, and you will not get any issues no matter the atomizer you are using. The mod is 26mm, but the 510 threading is not at the center and is more inclined towards the back. The tank looks good, and there are no complaints about how it looks.
This device is available in five color variations, with the leather material also included. The mod looks very nice. It has a clean and simple branding that is appealing to any user. The battery is a bottom latch system that makes it easy to open, and it works great with no issues even when it is used for a very long time.

- You will then use the up and down buttons to select the preferred selection and press the fire button to set
- Pressing the fire button and the down button at the same time will clear your puff counter
- Pressing the fire button and the up button will show the chip ID
The whole process of using this device is simple, and it is a general improvement compared to the mods that existed earlier. But it would have been much better with the full menu.
How to refill the PNP tank
If you have been through filling a style vape device, this process is not any different. If you have never used the pod-style device, do not worry since the procedure is simple and fast. Pull the pod to take it out from the 510 adapters, open the rubber plug on the pod's bottom and fill it with your juice.
When you finish the refill proves, push back the rubber plug into position and keep it tight. Push back your pod into the 510 adapters, and the magnet will hold them in place and give it a few minutes to settle before you fire it. This allows your wick to have full saturation and avoid you getting dry hits.
Vapor production and quality
The 0.15 ohm and the 0.2-ohm coils that come with the kit deliver a good flavor and impeccable flavor production. You can use a 50/50 PG/VG e-juice, and you will notice how the flavor is different. The PG is a flavor carrier, and you get to feel every bit of them.
The flavor produced by both coils is clear and crisp. Forming huge amounts of warm vapor when vaping at 40-60w on the 0.2ohm and the 60-80W for the 0.15-ohm tank.
Battery and charging
The VooPoo Argus GT operates on dual-18650 batteries that are removable, and for this reason, it is hard to pin down the battery life. This mostly depends on the device you are using and the wattage levels you are operating on. When using the 0.15ohm coils at 65w, you may get between 5-6 hours of heavy vaping.
To charge the device, it has a USB-C charging port and cable. All you need to do is plug the cable into the USB port found on the side of the Argus GT and connect them to a suitable power source. The battery level remaining is indicated on the screen, and while charging, the indicator will flash until the device is fully charged.
Performance
The PNP tank on this device works perfectly with all kinds of PG/VG ratios ranging from 60-80VG. This is especially true when you use 6mg nicotine strength e-juice with all the coil options. The 0.2ohm coils are satisfying to use. They have a good flavor, and they are very warm, especially at 50W.
By maintaining the airflow at halfway or a third makes it a very nice vape. When you close the airflow, even more, the airflow gets hotter. If you prefer warmer vapes, then close the airflow down to get a tasty vape.
The 0.15-ohm coils are so far the best of the coil options. It has an impressive and noticeable flavor compared to the 0.2-ohm variation. It is a rating between 60-80w delivers best at 50-60W, better if you maintain it at 50-55W. Just keep the airflow open fully or slightly closed, and you will still get a warmer vape.
