Design and Build Quality

The design language of the Drag series is probably different among vape mods and Voopoo has made sure that all Drag devices look similar and part of the same family. The same goes with the box-shaped Drag 4 Kit as it looks and feels similar to its predecessor, the Drag 3. Don’t get overwhelmed as they have made a few changes to the design.

Voopoo has opted for a C-Frame Design rather than the spring-loaded battery hinge on the bottom. This is one of the significant changes to the latest device compared to the previous one. The door or battery cover is a wonderful mix of leather on the backside and a wooden finish on the sides. Moreover, it comes in many different colors and material options.

The screen and the details within it is the other noticeable change in the design of the Drag 4. The screen appears to be bigger, brighter, and clearer. The Drag 4 is a multi-function Drag Vape Mod that is capable of 5w-177w with operating modes of Smart Coil Detection, Temperature Control, Variable Wattage, etc. It comes with many amazing features to enhance the functionality of the device. The vape mod comes with the UFORCE-L tank which is a top airflow tank and comes with three airflow slots. The airflow control rig can be set anywhere as it rotates freely without a stopper.

There is a locking switch that performs three functions: power on/off, lock the entire device, and lock only the adjustment buttons. You will need to understand the button combinations for enjoying the optimum performance. Pressing the power button five times for power on or off and pressing and holding both adjustment buttons to enter the settings menu. The change modes can be reached by pressing and holding the adjustment buttons and you can navigate to ‘Mode’ to select from different modes.

Talking about the trip tip, it is an 810 and is removable. However, it comes so fitted to the device that you have to work it out of there. The tank uses PnP coils and is also compatible with both the older coils as well as the newer coils. The kit comes with the new PnP TW15 coil and a new PnP TW20 coil. These coils are made with Dual In One Tech or you can say a double mesh design. These coils provide a good taste until the entire e-liquid is used.

Performance

As far as the Drag 4’s performance is concerned, it is a great Drag Vape Mod that comes with an impressive design and amazing features. It is easy to carry around and comfortable to hold, thanks to the grip. Things like locking the device or swapping out the batteries, or replacing the coils are pretty easy to do. It is easy to take out the batteries as the battery door comes off easily by sliding a switch.

The only downside of the Drag 4 is that it does not have TCR mode and a lot of vapers need this in their device. Though the TC mode performs well for a non-DNA mod, there is still room for the TCR mod. Also, there aren’t many reasons to use the RBA mode. The device fires instantly and the battery drainage is almost equal across both batteries. The power delivery is also consistent throughout the vaping session.

There is no surprise that the Drag 4 is designed to perform brilliantly and is worth every penny.
