Having prepared all the necessary materials we will start with the next step, which is the decarboxylation of the marijuana.

Once we have done this step, we will take the decarboxylated marijuana out of the oven and put it in the glass jar. We will cover all the weed completely with the alcohol we have decided to use. We will leave the jar open; you don't need to use the lid.

Fill the pot with about 5 cm of water and place the jar with the herb and the alcohol inside. This process is done as a precaution so that the alcohol does not overheat. We have to evaporate some of the alcohol in the glass jar. We will be constantly stirring the mixture of alcohol and marijuana. The alcohol will begin to extract the CBD and other active ingredients from the weed. Evaporate just the right amount of alcohol, leaving the bud submerged. You will see the liquid become much darker than before.

Once some of the alcohol has evaporated, refill the jar to the same level as before.

Filtering the mixture of alcohol with marijuana

This process consists of filtering the mixture of alcohol with marijuana that we have just prepared with the filter or cloth strainer. We place it on top of the other empty bottle we have and pour the mixture through the cloth. When we can, we will squeeze the strainer so that all the alcohol with the CBD comes out.

We put the second jar with the filtered mixture in a pot with water and boil it. Evaporate the rest of the alcohol until there are only about 5ml of liquid left, which will already be very concentrated. Check that you have the correct amount with the help of the syringe.

When we know the measure of concentrate, we have, we add 20ml of propylene glycol to the concentrated mixture and remove the pot from the heat. So now we have a total of 25ml ready to use with our Vaporizer or Electronic Cigarette.  The final e-liquid should be dark green.
